Enchanted Forest is a rewritten version of Werewolves. The fairies live in the enchanted forest. Night after night, the trolls try to send all the fairies to the shadow realm. The roles are the same as in Werewolves:

  • Villagers = Fairies
  • Werewolves = Trolls
  • Witch = Witch
  • Cupid = Love Dwarf
  • Little Girl = Little Elf
  • Hunter = Wizard
  • Seer = Fortune Teller
  • Village flirt (house rule: spends the night at another player’s home) = Best Friend

The players sit in a circle of chairs around the narrator and place their role cards face down on the floor in front of them without revealing their role. They close their eyes and may only wake up when the narrator calls their role.

Night phase: Every night, the different roles wake up one after the other, in this order:

  • Love Dwarf (first night only)
  • Fortune Teller
  • Best Friend
  • Trolls
  • Witch
  • While the trolls are awake, the Little Elf may peek inconspicuously

Day phase: During the day, all players discuss who among them might be a troll and vote on whom to banish to the shadow realm. When the Wizard is eliminated, he has the power to take one player with him.

The game ends when either all trolls are eliminated (the fairies win) or the trolls outnumber the fairies (the trolls win).
