Written by people.Translated with AI.Checked by people.

Every Pulse resource starts with people: youth workers, parents, educators and partner organizations in many countries who write from real experience with young people. Most resources appear in German first; some are written in other languages and translated into German. So that youth leaders, parents and educators everywhere can use it for free, AI helps us translate it. Before publishing, a second AI checks every translation against the original. After that, native speakers on our team read it, and the mark next to the author and date shows how far they’ve gotten. Made by people, for people.

What the mark on a post shows

On every translation, next to the author and date, you’ll find a small mark with three dots. Click it to see where the text was written, which language it was translated from and how far people have checked it.

  • Translated with AI, third dot open: No native speaker has read the text yet. Before publishing, a second AI compared it with the original.
  • Translated with AI, third dot half full: A native speaker has decided on every passage we adapted in translation. Nobody has read the whole text yet.
  • Reviewed translation, third dot full: A native speaker on our team has read the whole text and approved it.

If we change a translation in a big way, for example by adding a new section, the review starts over.
