The players sit in a circle and follow the leader’s instructions. The leader says:
“Hi, my name is Joe,
and I’ve got a wife and two kids and I work in a button factory.
One day my boss came up to me and said, ‘Joe, are you busy?’
I said, ‘No.’ He said, ‘Then push this button with your right hand.’”
All players do the motion and push an imaginary button with their right hand. The leader repeats the whole text, and each time through adds a new motion: “Then push this button with …
- your left hand.”
- your right foot.”
- your left foot.”
- your tongue.”
- your head.”
With every new motion, all the body parts named before keep moving. In the end, everything is in motion at once.
