Black Stories

Black Stories is a card game series with collections of tricky, dark riddle stories. Based on a short description of a scene, the goal is to figure out the circumstances and events that led to the situation described. To do that, the players ask the leader questions, which the leader may only answer with “yes” or “no.”

You can buy the cards as a game (there are English editions) or find similar lateral-thinking riddles online. The game is perfect for train rides and road trips, because anyone who wants to can join in and anyone can drop out at any time.
