🎲

****Group:** 8+ · ****Where:** Indoors · ****Materials:** slips of paper with names, chairs for the circle and for “parliament” · ****Skills:** strategic thinking, teamwork

Set up a circle of chairs, with four chairs placed separately: the “parliament.” Add one extra chair that stays empty at the start.

Split all players into two teams and seat them alternating as much as possible. The four seats of parliament are taken by two people from each team, alternating (parliament can also be a couch, which makes it even more tempting).

Write every player’s name on a slip of paper, shuffle the slips and hand one to each player. Everyone now has a new name, and nobody is allowed to reveal it.

The player whose right-hand neighbor seat is empty starts and calls a person over by name. The person who has that name on their slip moves to the empty seat, and the next player takes a turn (just like “The seat on my right is free”).

The first team to fill all four seats of parliament wins.

💡

****Pro tip:** To make it harder, swap slips with your new left-hand neighbor every time you change seats. Takes even more focus and brainpower.
